On November 21, 2019, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) published new Guidelines on the Revival of Expired Corporation further to Section 11 of the Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines.
The Guidelines apply to the following companies:
1. Companies with expired terms; 2. Companies whose registration have been revoked for non-filing of reportorial requirements; 3. Companies whose registration have been suspended; or 4. Companies whose corporate name has already been re-used by another registered company.
